Armor *finally* arrived Wednesday, so I figured it's time to get crackin' on a WIP! Marc and I pooled resources on getting some parts for the squad leader so you'll see some similar gear between us.
So, where did I get my neat-o stuff? Here we go:
Helmet: Inception Studios (The Rocketeer on The RPF) - A nice helmet, but seems on the larger side.
Armor: Inception Studios (The Rocketeer on The RPF) - Resin armor and details. The casts are really nice, but the resin is a bit stiff, we'll see how getting it together goes! Little worried about cracks and such, Boba/Rex/TK are all ABS/PVC so it'll be an adjustment.
Boots: Orca Bay Bretons - Super comfy, I'll feel bad weathering them..
Pants: Made by Cole Brant off the Spec Ops forums. His Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/brantspants
Shirt/Neckseal: Jim Tripon (He offers armor and helmets also)
Belt: Two pieces of 1.5" webbing zigzagged stitched by my top secret tailor (Hi Dad).
Kama: Marc had a good source on these, so bug him... :P
Gloves: Endor finders.
Blaster: E-22 by 850 Armor. Tons of cleanup needed and it's all resin. Beefy but probably only for short troops.
I've had the helmet for two months, and had it painted in the lighter rustoleum color. Grabbed some of the Sahara beige and repainted it last week. Need to re-weather and get the visor in.

James came over today and helped get all the armor trimmed up. Resin makes a mess... First forearm is being glued with E-6000, I'll glue another tomorrow.

Finally, a quick mock up with copious amounts of tape to see how things fit/don't fit.

Hoping to get everything done by Evergreen, but we'll see...

Looks like its coming along nicely.
-
That's so cool!
-
Good news/bad news!
I'm rushing to get this done by tomorrow so I can get pictures in for approval to troop Evergreen, so I haven't taken much in the way of pictures.
I'm out of Sahara Beige, but once i get some more in I'll probably move the yellow symbol up a little on the armor.
I took a quick pic of the chest before weathering it last night.

Strapping is tonight, and I need to install a new visor tomorrow before pictures. The one provided you can see my eyes really easily...

Getting the chest and back to sit right is proving to be a pain, but I have the bottom half pretty much done!
