There are the correct "style", but unfortunately rubber boots are not passable for basic approval. Leather or faux-leather are the options. Have you tried looking for equestrian boots? I know they can get spendy.
I understand the struggle with boots. It took me quite a while to find my reserve pilot boots. I finally had to resort to evilbay and paid a decent a amount. Maybe Marc has a few leads..?
