Hitting close to home...
« on: April 27, 2010, 01:25:50 PM »
Hey everyone i just want to let you know that Allan's sister had her Baby Sunday night. But he was born 5 1/2 weeks early and is in ICU he was only 4 Pounds 6 ounces and has a tear or a tiny hole in his lung. I guess at one point his lung was collapsed but has expanded since. He cant breathe on his own and he is hook up to all kinds of devices and has a breathing tube. He is in serious but stable condition. So far they are saying he has to be in ICU for at least 2 weeks ( hopefully not more). We would appreciate you prayers. Thank you!

Good thoughts on the way!

3 years ago, one of our good friend's was prego w/twins. Her BP was so dangerously high, that they took out the kidos 2 months early. I think they were in the hospital for 3-4 weeks and turned out just fine.... I'm sure your nephew will be, too!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and your family. I know how they are feeling, and know that the Doctors, Nurses, and care staff are doing their best to care for him.
Think positive thoughts.

That's very good news, and another great reason for our continued support of CMN.  Glad to hear he's getting better!

Our prayers go out to him & the family.  Take heart.  My triplets were 5 weeks early.  The smallest at 4lb 7oz.  They were in the NICU for a couple of weeks and the boys were both on vent tubes for a while.  Preemie girls usually do better in the breathing department than preemie boys (per my wife the obstetrics/newborn nursery nurse).  Mine are all unstopable now!
