I just got a $300 book in, DRESSING A GALAXY: THE COSTUMES OF STAR WARS. It will be available in my shop to any of our 501st/RL members, (or potential members), for costume research. It has in-dept descriptions, images, and even FABRIC SWATCHES of the actual costumes from Lucasfilms archives :shock:! And I know sometimes one of the hardest things to find is that EXACT fabric for our costumes. Unfortunately it only includes the new Trilogy, not the original Trilogy costumes :evil:.....................Old Tony Kenobi
The following link has some pictures and a description of the book on Sideshow's website;

That is a great book!

I look forward to perusing it! I've heard about it several times as 'the' resource when it comes to SW costumes.

Wow. Is that what it's going for these days? I bought my copy at the actual exhibition in LA,and it was $60. That was a lucky find.

There's two versions. Just the book is about $60-80, the book with case and fabric swatches is MUCH pricier.
