The Dengar thighs have this optional level-2 requirement: "Wide shim of plastic that is similar to armor is to help close the back seam".
There is an on-set photo of Dengar from the back that show these shims.
When I first built the armor I didn't think I was going to bother making this change, but since I was repainting the armor anyway I figured now is the best time.
So I went to the hardware store and found the thickest for sale sign they had:

I used paper to make a template for the shims.

Traced them onto the sign and cut out the shims.

And then held my breath as a cut into a perfectly good pair of TK thighs, to add shims that I really don't need. lol

Test fitting the shims, they are still just flat.

Then used my heat gun to curve them, with more test fitting.

I didn't really even bother to sand the wonky cuts on the thighs or shims before gluing them, I figured it wasn't necessary.

No bondo, ABS paste, or putty. We're doing this Dengar style, just add a little paint, and done.
