Vader questions

I?m looking at putting together a Vader and need to run some pieces through someone who may be more in the know.  I tried over at the Sith Lord boards, but all I got was the line ?See for yourself,? ?we all have to make mistakes to get perfection,? and other similar lines.  I know that I have to make my own mistakes, but I don?t want to buy sh*t and wind up just wasting money.

If a Vader could PM me so I can run the pieces over with you, I would appreciate it.  I?d do it here, but it would involve some brand names which are prohibited.  Thanks.

Oh, and this will be my 501st entry costume after my Rebel Fleet Trooper.  So, please be honest.

My gosh... You sure have alot of costumes you want to do..Whew.... My question is which one are you going to do first.. second ..third ..forth ..etc etc...You sure have alot of zeal... and funds to match for the many you would like to do... Good luck.. I am sure many will point you in right direction..  Have fun....

The one I'm working on right now if a Rebel Fleet Trooper.  All I need to do before I submit it is:

1) Pick up my shirt and vest from the tailor.
2) Pop rivet a couple of belt clips to my ammo packs (belt boxes) and hinge them.
3) Put the chin strap and suspension system in my helmet.
4) Finish the cocking ring and sight post of my blaster and paint it.
5) Get my belt, holster, and buckle in the mail.

That's it.

My next costume is going to be the Vader.  I was going to go Imp Officer first, but some PMs were sent on the IOC boards that made me reconsider.

Katie, on the other hand, is just waiting for the main part of her ANH Leia to get in before she enters.  After that, she'll be doing Slave Leia (hopefully the kit arrives before the Armor Party on the 2nd).

You all will be seeing me at both Armor Parties with my box-o-props.  As of this moment, and it is set in stone, my next outfit will be a Vader...  $2649.99 at the moment, but I need to find a better saber... I just hope I can get the high bid on the saber I'm looking at on ebay right now.

Hey Jason,

Not sure if they are gone, but one of our Vaders was recently (in October) getting rid of some of his stuff in this thread - you may want to PM him and see if any of the items are still available. Good luck on your Vader Quest!
