Ross' Death Trooper
« on: March 28, 2017, 01:59:57 PM »
Well, since I finished my Kylo and just submitted it, I figured I'd start a thread for my DT.

This is what I've got so far.
Helmet - Anovos
Gloves - Endors Finders
Boots - Dr. Martens talib. I actually got these for free because my friend is a Dr. Martens rep.
Pauldron - trooper bay
Armor - Armory Shop raw kit on order. It was a toss up between this and Jim's fiberglass kit. The lighter weight of the 3D printing and shipping cost was the final deciding factor. If money were no object, I would have both.
E-11D - Roman Bela's on order
SE-14R - Roman Bela's on order
Speed strap - Kerry Rowntree

Need to get.
Under suit - leaning towards Jim's suit. Also considering Jim for specialist add ons such as pouches.
Belt -

Pictures to follow soon!

Nice! I know two other guys working on DT builds locally. Romans weapon kits are super nice!

Sweet, at the Laurel Tavern meet up the other month I met one other person building one. His name escapes me at the moment. It'll be sweet to have a squad of DT's!

I'm excited to get Roman's kits! They just shipped yesterday!

Go with Jim's Under suit Its the best out there!!  I'm using auto paint on my suit! all the parts are sprayed in Epoxy primer, just waiting for the paint both to  be clean out then I can paint!!

I'm definitely planning on picking up Jim's under suit! I believe David, that you're the fella I chatted with for a moment at the Laurel Tavern meet up. You brought your DT helmet, correct? Anyway, if that was you, we chatted briefly and I said I was early on in my build.

Looking forward to seeing your kit in all its glory!

Haha, I know someone on one of the DT builders group pages made an audio file with 30 different isolated DT sounds from the movie. I'll probably try and snag those and rig a button somewhere either on my blaster or my belt. Really go all out!
