TK Build in Salem

Well, I have my armor on order and while waiting for the arrival, I wanted to have something tangible to make the process a little more real.

So without further ado, here is my first tangible purchase toward the build of my armor...

Good start, hopefully you bought more than one!

Here is the link to my build if you want to take a look at it. I tried to capture every step I did while making it.

Thanks Jim. That is a very well documented thread. I have also ordered rare earth magnets to use for the cover strips. Instead of round magnets, I went with N52 20mmx10mm rectangles. I figured those would hold a longer seam better than round. I purchased those from BangGood pretty cheaply. If those don't work as I expected, I'll just order some round ones. I'll experiment on some scrap to test my theory.

I feel confident in the cutting and fitting, but the most intimidating part to me are the connectors. However, at the armor party on in July you mentioned that those aren't judged for EIB or Centurion so that made me feel a bit better.
