Well, finally decided to register here.
I am really interested in joining up and I think I am almost ready to take the plunge in costuming. If I armor up it's more than likely going to be clone.
I really dig the commando and I think it suits my body type better from what I have seen. Is anyone else "going commando"? It would be really cool to have a squad don't you think?
I guess my question to you guys is regular clone (phase I or II) or republic commando?
Hope to here back

Adam,
Welcome fellow want-to-be. :D :D :D Not only will you get a lot of help from these guys (clone, or otherwise), but you can also can go to the Legion wide Clone site (http://forum.clonetroopers.net/) (<-link) to get even more.
-
only 1 other RC in our area.....Todd. and he has about 75 other costumes, so getting a day where he wears it might be tough.
But, do whichever you want. There are about 7-10 ( active members) of us that are clones in the area .
we really could use a cody though
good luck and welcome. clonetroopers.net will have all the info you need for whichever you choose.

Adam Hello and Welcome!!

Hey Adam. Welcome to Cloud City Garrison. Determining which clone you want to do kind of depends on your budget availability of costume parts. Right now, I think the phase two is probably easier to come by than the others, just because those are the easier helmets to come across. But don't quote me on that. Take your time with your costume and pick the collective clone brains here and over at CTN (clone trooper detachment forum).
We have armor parties all the time - one today, in fact - so you won't ever have to take on the task of costume construction, alone. There are people here that will help you out!
Good luck with the build.

Or a Rex... :)

Welcome Adam, The Clone is a very cool Costume. Enjoy your stay. There are many here who can direct to what you would like in your build, and share on the cost involved.
Peace, Allan

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome!
How can I find out about the next armor party? I'd really like to see what it's all about, and show off what I have built.
-
They happen all the time. They will be announced as they come up.

welcome adam :D hope to see you armored up soom.......old tony kenobi
-
the next armor party is ........yesterday the 14th. :x
don't worry though. Rick has said that he wil have more in the near future.
-
Hi from your local rebels, Adam! Glad you found your way over here! I've yet to make it to an armor party, but I hear they're wild and crazy. Stuff apparently gets glued to tables and armor still comes out looking awesome.
-
I'll be hosting an armor party at my place in April - I'm trying to nail down a date ATM - Most Likely will be a Sunday
I warn you though.. a lot of my Armor Parties result in more video games being played than armor being worked on
-
Well, actually it is a 50/50 split. Half armor and half rock band. Then again, some of those showing up do so only to help others put their armor together (and play rock band).
-
True enough.

Wow, just realized after I registered more threads opened up! Armor and for sale section just what I need!
Are most of you guys members in the rebel legion also?
-
Some are... i, however, only belong to the Rebel Legion... but a lot of members have dual membership... were you thinking about joining RL?

Just wanted to let you guys know, my son and I were at the Chidrens museum, He loved seeing you guys!
It was a total surprise for him, It was funny he walked right up to Baccara and "said I have you"
I enjoyed it to.

Adam, We are glad you were able to make it out. Commander Bacara was costumed by CCG's CO Kyle Yount. We had a great time, and the kids and adults were wonderful. whenever you are ready to Armor up please contact us so we could point you to right direction for the best deal. Dave Hamm is our Membership Person.
Peace, Allan
