Alright so after little sleep and running errands the trimming has begun. Main body parts, an buttons, hand plates rough trimmed so far. Doing biceps and shoulder bells now.

Alright! Big brown box day! Nice to see that your armor is finally here!

Some of the Anovos guys can chime in with more up to date info, but if I remember right the trim lines were pretty generous (lots of extra) for some of the parts.

Triple check CRL requirements for return edges, etc. Some of the spots you'll need to take off more than what Anovos suggests.

Yup, they were generous enough that they fit my fat larger frame. An average person should have plenty of room to work with in theory. Always start large though!

I think the only return edge that goes against Anovos's instructions is the forearm around your wrist. That just goes away entirely. That being said, if you aren't already, I'd mostly ignore Anovos and follow this guide instead. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/

Yeah so far I've only trimmed to the ANOVOS lines and can tell I'll be trimming more on some of it. I have by and large ignored their instructions. Tonys thread is pretty good. I have going over. Mike "TK1636" video series on YouTube really good and informative for the kit. The new ones have unassembled belts, though they still place the snaps, and added pads to the bucket instead of the liner. Wrist return edge is already off. 2/3rds of the way through the rough trim now.

Finished rough trimming everything out today, even remembered to get rid of the return edge on the forearms. Now to move on to the fitting and final trimming. Looking over the bucket I realized I definitely need to repaint the frown and possibly fix the right ear. Just glad it fits me comfortably. I also retrimmed the hand plates down to 5mm.

i wouldn't worry about the ear to much.. if you look at a lot of the ref pics there is gaps and imperfect ears. the back side looks fine.. maybe a little closing of the gap by the Tube Stripes but likely not a huge issue.

you are cranking through it! that's a lot of trimming in a day!!!
