Hello to all the fellow Star Wars artists.
My name is Marcel and I am wishing to apply for the Rebel Legion; Cloud City Garrison.
I am a Yamhill County native and currently live in Tigard Oregon. I have experience in costuming, volunteering for middle school events, teaching and photography. My love for Star Wars is like no other and have dreamed of directing this focus towards a larger and beautiful cause like charity for a long time. I've known of the 501st and Rebel Legion for a long while and have taken many pictures with the members and even went to an event at the Cook Elementary in McMinnville as Anakin Skywalker and had a beautiful time.
Now that you know what I've done, I'd like to tell you what I want to achieve. I currently have an Anakin Skywalker costume from ROTS and wanted to focus on the good side of Ani before his fall to the Dark Side. I don't have the curly hair, but I do have an 8-Piece Jedi suit with Luke's FX Lightsaber. I did purchase this about 3 years ago on eBay from China so the colors and likeness may be a little off. Can I share pictures here or should that be elsewhere?
Thanks for reading and I look forward to creating an awesome likeness that will bring smiles to children's faces.
P.S. I have also been seriously looking into purchasing a suit to apply for the 501st Legion from the website www.anovos.com or www.stawars.com regarding the Shadow Trooper, AT-AT Pilot or Imperial Stormtrooper sets, but this is further in the future.

Correction: Being that my costume is from the ROTS Episode this will be the Dark Anakin.

You know, you could join the Rebel Legion and the 501st with the Anakin costume. I think that the only difference is the contacts but I'm not completely sure that's the only difference.

Thank you. Yes I guess the only difference would be the contact lenses of which I do have. And to apply to both garrisons would be a great start in making connections for producing more costumes.

Thank you so much! I'll make sure to post any questions I have, I have a list brewing for sure. I also might be interested in being a spotter for events as well being how much I love photography so I'll search for them as well.

That's so amazing! I'm so excited to be out there making a difference whether it be Bad Guys doing Good or Rebeling it's been a huge dream of mine. I work full time so I'd have to free up days for events ahead of time 2-4 weeks ahead, how far ahead can you guys plan out?
