Ok so this is RogueJedi, had issues with my account, and had to start a new one with my wifes email address. So long story short, my son will be three in April, Thanks Martin for helping me out last year with my son's awesome party, he still talks about it and his cake!

My problem is how do I top that this year? I've been thinking of doing another trooper party, after all his love for the soilders who give their lives for the Empire has only grown, as has his trooper collection.
So I'm curious if I could swing it would anyone be interested in makeing an appearance?
I was thinking show up, do the whole "blowing out the candles" then when the time comes for you all to bounce mabey even "Chasing a fugitive Jedi" who has survived Order 66? I have a Jedi outer cloak if needed to pull it off..

We'd be doing it in Grants Pass again, though it might be at our home this year, though we may stick with Abby's pizza again, still not positive. If anyone's interested in makeing an appearance let me know.
Thanks, -IR2-

jedi's are full of delicious red frosting?YUM YUM!!i showed my two boys and they say that is the BEST cake ever!!very cool!!
-
I am sure we can come up with something!!! Make sure you stay on top of us, since April is a bit away. Keep coming to the boards and saying hello too!!
-
I might be able to take a trip down there if I have some time to plan it (which I do). That'd be fun. I had a great time last time!
-
Sweet, I'll keep everyone up to date on scheduled time. Would weekend be best for most people? if so it might be a sunday. Or after noon on a sat. His birthday is the 17th which lands on tuesday. Like I said nothing date wise is locked in.
As for the cake, it's be along the same lines as last year, but with more troopers and mabey more Jedi being slaughtered. I just through the cake together last year, this year I'll be planning it more
-
The only weekend trooping days I would have open during April would be the 7th or the 21st! Hope that helps! :D
-
Looks like the 14th or the 15th might be the date for the party. I'll keep everyone posted as we lock it down.
-
Ok it will be on April 15th, some time after 12 yet before 3pm. We haven't yet locked down the time.
-
Hmm if this day doesn't work I might have to swap weekends.
-
That day will probably work.
-
Cool! Any idea how many might show?
-
That's a visitation weekend with my kids.... no can do.
-
Probably only about two or three. If folks from P-town wish to come they are welcome!!
-
Well, the two of you last time made his entire year. Comander Cody is his favorite trooper, and having the suit finished in time was fate. He loves watching ep 3 over and over because of all the troopers. Count on another "order 66" cake, though this one might have some lightsaber action. I'm still working out the details (any excuse to play....I mean set up my toys...I mean action figure :D )
I'll try to not keep who ever shows up there too long. Get some pics, blow out candles. That's why I was thinking of having someone (mabey one of my brother-in-laws or one of you) to come in in my Jedi robe as an "excues" to bail out to hunt down the Jedi FOR THE EMPIRE!
It's funny how my son's trooper obsession combined with many hours of Battlefront 2 has made me start to turn against the Jedi
I think this might be the year I get the Scout Armor. :)
-
Cool, and I'm currently making a mold of the Scout trooper blaster, and plan to start making them this coming week. I'm trying to shoot for around $25-$35 shipped.

The same materials and techniques I make my E-11's from!!

Sweet. I'll keep that in mind.
BTW How much do you let your E-11's go for?
-
I'm still working on a run of 20 that I have people on the list for. After this run is done I'm going to have to ask $300 for them as they are so labor intensive to build properly. I'd put mine up against a Hyper-Firm anyday, and those can go for $350-$450. They're just a cast peice of rubber with no moving parts.
-
The scout trooper blaster, that's like a small hand gun right?
-
It looks something like this...

Hmmm 25-35 you say? I think I could swing that.
-
That's my goal... to keep it affordable yet high in quality! I've seen these go for $125 plus shipping!

I bought my Hyperfirm for $200 shipped. The most I have seen the Hyperfrim E-11 go for is $250. The Hyperfirm "BFG's" go in $350-$500 range on Ebay.
-
You guys can chat about hyperfirm on another thread. Lets not hijack the birthday thread please.
-
LOL.... no problem, except that the thread author started it!! :P
