I'm sure most of you have heard me say, "Meh, My Clone is dead to me," what gives you say? Well for those of you that aren't in the know I'm working on Predator costume. I'm pleased with how it is coming along so far, and have decided to share some of my progress photos with you, while I wait for my first layer of Latex to dry on the skin in my garage. Enjoy!

Heh, the Mr. I Suit gets covered in liquid Latex, then airbrushed to create the Predator skin :)

Paul please explain the duck tape.

THe duct tape was for a duct tape dummy. I wrapped myself in duct tape and then used that as a form to put inside the Mr I suit, that way when I latex it, it is my size and shape.

In both comic runs of Batman vs Predator, batman of corse wins
In the non-cannon Batman Dead End - Batman defeats a predator and then is caught in the middle of a predator vs alien battle, even though it is not shown, any reasonable person would assume Batman is killed, and the predators would of course keep his head as a trophy.
I actually added real teeth to the trophy, it's starting to look really cool and disgusting

It looks really good Paul, except for one thing. I believe the gauntlets are on the wrong hand. I don't believe that they had any retracting blades on the left. I am not sure if this is a compensation bit for the Commander fore arm mishap that we went through. If it is I am not laughing, I am actually crying a little bit, with hurt feelings. :lol: :lol: :lol: 8) 8) :roll: :roll: :cry: :D :D :D

Also, the Feet are on backwards and I'm not wearing my neckseal :P
As far as the guantlets go, there are predators that have gauntlets on the left, and even ones that have them on both sides. I put them on the left because last time I had them on the right I kept ramming the blades into things when I tried to pick up stuff :P Not sure which side I'll end up woth them on, however what's cool about this project is that I am in no way going for movie cannon --- at all :mrgreen:
Still have a lot of work to do but I think a halloween troop is possible

So, the Predator's feet face backwards? I though the toes on them were forward like you have them but I will go back and watch the movies again to double check. Though they may be on the wrong foot.

Yah, we originally had the little toes facing in.. but it didn't look right, so we switched it... then it didn't feel right... then we looked at reference photos

Yes, we are adding that and strapping on Friday. Net suit is a pain in the donkey by the way!

Bill, can you think of a better prey to hunt besides a Jedi? Though, if you wear a lightsaber, you should burn a score all the way along the facemask to show the near decapitation before you gutted the poor youngling.

It's blasphemous because no good, self-respecting Jedi would allow a Predator to defeat him. Hey, if the Jedi could defeat the Mandolorian Warriors, then they can take out a measely Predator.
