No meeting, but let's get together anyway....

There was talk about having an open garrison meeting tomorrow. It would appear that it isn't happening. But since some folks cleared their schedules for this and others came up from far away, I would like to invite all for one big hang out session.

This won't be an official meeting or anything, just spending quality time among friends, old and new. All are welcome to attend. So all of you new folks that have signed on to the boards recently, this would be a great way to get together with some of the garrison members to put in some face time. Sorry for the short notice, but I at least wanted to make an attempt to put something together for those who travelled from afar and who cleared schedules for this.

So let's meet up at the Pietro's in Milwaukie. It is right next to the Kellogg Bowling alley that a few of us did a birthday party at the night before Starlight. Let's get together at 3:00 and have it go until whenever.

We had a meeting at the Pietro's. I'm sorry that I didn't think to check to see if there was anything going on or not. There was a car show, but that didn't stop folks from showing. I know it was last minute, but I want to thank those who showed up: the grumpy one and his kid, Firestorm, Saberwolf, Zolotkey, and myself. We also had some newbies show up as well. So I want to thank Viking, Sigmarue and Oomar for making it out.

We'll do it again sometime, I am sure. We are planning on a bbq in August, so stayed tuned for that!

 I, personally, had a great time.  I was nice to meet some of the CCG face to face, hear some of the "war stories" of the actions that the CCG has participated in, and have a good laugh.  A question: one thing that, Bill & I, discussed was TKvanB, and her web site.  I have it and was wonder if I could post the link, to her site, here in the forum?  Somewere other than this topic.  For those of use who are interested, in her wears (Sp?)?

We'll do it again sometime, I am sure. We are planning on a bbq in August, so stayed tuned for that!
