Growing up, not being that big on the GI Joe comics and basing all of my knowledge on the toys, cartoons, and made for tv movies (Duke always manages to get knocked into a coma). Look at the differences between the two. SnakeEyes purports to be a good guy, dressed in all black, hides in the shadows and has an array of weapons ranging from the traditional ninja weapons to hand grenades, pistols and machine guns. StormShadow always seemed to represent the traditional style. His two katana, throwing stars (shuriken?), nun-chucks and what not. No guns. That and he dressed in WHITE! Nothing says more bad@ss than that. Like I said, IMO. Snakie got alot better in the newer cartoons when he befriended the wolf and got that cool forearm crossbow thingy.
