Greetings from Eugene,
I'm so pleased to introduce myself to the group with thanks to Allan Quick and Terry who have worked tirelessly to complete my new Storm Trooper suit in time for my first troop, tomorrow, at PK Park Stadium (baseball).
At last year's annual Eugene Celebration (www.EugeneCelebration.com) I was so 'taken' by Cloud City's presence in the parade I just HAD to join in . . . and here we are nearly a year later, with success.
Armor came from Matt Gauthier near Portland but Allan and Terry get all the credit for creating the magic that I hope to embody. We shall see!
Sincerely,
Aven Wright-McIntosh

Aven,
I'm the GML for CCG and since I haven't seen any pictures of your build to make sure you are headed in the right direction, please make sure all of these guidelines were followed for basic approval if you built an ANH Stunt like Allan just did... mainly, the butt plate has to be separate from the kidney plate http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt
If you built another version, then go to the correct CRL here http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:FISD_CRL
Looking forward to seeing the pics!

I am submitting Pics to you Marc for Aven's Suit. This Suit is accurate to ANH and done in the correct manner. The plates are separate and has a Canvas Belt. Looks amazing and so excited for her.

Trooped with her yesterday at PK, I think the costume looks AWESOME!
-
Looked Great & Aven did awesome on her first troop!

Easy approval on this one. She will need to fill out the new member mumbo jumbo on the 501st before I can do anything. Also, she will need to mod the holster straps in accordance to the standards... Easy fix >>Holster is worn on left side of belt. It must be made of black leather or leather-like material, and must be attached via two leather or leather-like material straps to the belt from behind instead of front, with no loops covering the outside of the belt.
The holster must be affixed with only two fasteners at the bottom (one per strap). The fasteners may be rivets, snaps, or Chicago screws.

welcome trooper:)

Aven it was nice to meet you. I look forward to trooping with you in the future. Your Armor looked great. I always say the more tk's we have the better we look.
-
Aven the armor looks great and I echo the sentiment about more Stormtroopers! Hopefully you can make it up to the armor party this weekend - the people there should be able to help get it 100% approved without much effort.

Thank you! It was a great "first troop" - LOVED your voice and the positive energy that surrounded everyone - contagious!
