Title: Hello From An Old Friend

As I wipe the dust off my username, I thought I would say hi.  It has been quite some time since I've been here and even longer since I've seen everyone and trooped.  I miss you all and am trying to get my armor together to hopefully come back soon.  Its been one insane year and a half (man, has it been that long?) since I've been aound.  Hopefully you haven't forgotten good old Dave!!

Hey Dave! I saw you at the airport last month. You disappeared before a free spot opened up at the desk though, so I wasn't able to say hi. Perhaps next time. :)

I'm trying, i'm trying.  This last month has been extremly difficult cause I nearly lost my wife and kids in a car wreck.  They were traveling on I-5 south when someone crossed over the grassy median and swerved right into them.  My kids just got bruised but my wife broke her foot.  Dealing with that, and other family/personal issues have been really keeping me from doing anything.  I am keeping my eye on the events stuff and will try to get out soon.

Dave - Wow, sorry they were in an accident, but glad they're 'ok'....

I haven't trooped for a little bit, sometimes due to personal issues also, so I understand.

Ok, I just can't help myself...

I was looking at the member photos today and felt that I just had to share these particular ones.

So why is Dave listing to the side???  Is one leg longer than the other or is he constipated?

When you take the helmet off, I think you can see the answer for yourself.

HEY!!  We were JUST wondering about you!!  Good to see you're still up and at 'em!  WOW, that I-5 grass median really is STUPID, isn't it?  I'm not terribly impressed with that STUPID, (and CHEAP) cable barrier they have in place either... I drive it almost everyday up to the Metro area and back from Woodburn.  Glad to hear the family is basically good to go... makes you stop and take stock of the IMPORTANT things!

Hope to see you trooping soon, the Salvation Army Bell Ringing event will be upon us SOON!!  :D

Hope to see you back trooping again, Dave. I met you once, Starlight Parade '06, even if it was very briefly. Glad to hear that the family is ok. Take care.
