Hello spotters! We're looking for help with our appearance at KidFest this year and would love to see or meet you! Take a look at the details and schedule linked below and let us know by replying here if you want to help out with any of the green spots. There are descriptions of the roles on one of the tabs at the bottom.
If you're new to spotting, this is a great chance to get out and see what an event is all about. Don't worry if you've never helped out before!
P.S. BAT stands for Blast-A-Trooper. :)

Bump for this! We could really use the help of some spotters for this event in the green spots on the schedule linked above. (We do have costumers signed up, so don't let the blankness of the schedule fool you. I just haven't dropped all the "I'm available all day" folks into slots yet.)
If anyone's available for 90 minutes or so either day, please let us know if you'd like to help out. This is a really fun and relaxed event!
-
I'm hoping to be available for a Saturday 10-11:30, but I'm not sure if work is going to conflict. I'm should find out soon and I'll reply here.
-
I'm available to help on Saturday, anytime between 10-2:30. I could stay the entire time if you'd like.
-
Thanks, Daryl! I've added you for the whole time for now, but we can definitely adjust as needed on the fly.
-
my wife (Judy) will be available for spotter duty during my times, Sat and Sun
-
Hello all: My first taste of spotting was Friday 05 for Mascot night at the Moda Center during the Winter Hawks game. Hopefully I made a good first impression.
I would like to help on Saturday. I have initially blocked out my calendar for the entire event. I will adjust as needed when the event arrives.

Hi Joel! We'd love to have you. I've written you in to help from 1-4. Please feel free to come by earlier if you'd like, or let me know if you need to adjust this.
-
I will be there on Sat 12n-4pm
And Sun 10am-2:30pm.
Just me as TB alone. My Ewok has other plans involving Girl Scout cookies all weekend.

Hi everyone,
I have been contacted by a student named Paul. He and two other students are planning to help on Sunday for a school project.
I will try to get them to come around 10. It looks like we might be able to use a little bit of extra help in the morning.
-
Mindie,
Do we pay admission or do we say we are with Star Wars Oregon?
Thanks.
-
Go to the desk at the front and tell them you're with SWO. They'll let you in. :)
-
I can spot Saturday if you still need someone
-
That would be great, Casey! What time works for you?
-
I have all day free. Ill take as many slots as available. Its a long drive up there for me may as well make the most of it.
-
Awesome. I'll stick you in the 10am shift, and you can stay for as long as you want. We'll have stuff for you to help with. :)
-
I have not been to the Expo center for years. I will look for an exhibitors map. Do you know where the SWO both will be?
Thank you.
-
I believe they're going to put us right inside the main entrance to the exhibit hall again. If that's not the case, the area isn't too large, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding us.
-
Not going to be able to help spot sorry for the late notice. Get to see my kid for the first time in a month so I'm taking the opportunity while I can, bad timing. For some reason I can't pm you so I'm posting it here.

Yep, we're right inside the main exhibit hall, just to the left. You can't miss our booth.

If you paid for parking today, send me a PM with the total you paid.
If you are coming tomorrow and haven't yet paid for your parking tomorrow, PM me and tell me that.
You will have to pay $8 to park.
They are going to write me a check, I think, and then I'll reimburse you all. If you don't PM me, I won't know to reimburse you and it won't happen. :)
-
I had fun today. My wife dropped me off and came back for me so no parking for me.
I will get the pictures I took to B-Pfau at work Monday since he has a photo bucket account and is a full member so he can share a link to them in the correct location.

Helping at the booth today was a blast. :)
-
Thanks, everyone, for helping out yesterday!!

Thank you Saturday spotters: Daryl, Joel and Judy! (Sorry if I missed someone).
-
HUGE THANK YOU!!! To all the spotters (members or not) that worked this weekend. This kind of event couldn't happen without that level of support. I know many of you took a lot of shifts (or all of them...) You're all awesome!!!

Thank you to everyone who helped at the table, organized the line, held a sign, loaded Nerf guns, picked up darts, answered questions, and took care of anything else that needed to be done.
Thank you for taking time away from your families. Thank you for staying longer than you were scheduled. Thank you for smiling and having fun at the booth.
We could not make these events happen without all of our volunteers.

It was fun being at the booth with you all for Kidfest weekend. Loved seeing kids (of all ages) having fun. Look forward to more :)
