They are going to be interesting to weather up. They completely look different in person. I beat the hell out of them with a wire brush and they ended up about 2 shades lighter.

I'm actually panning on snagging a small bag of sand when we go to Maui, then I'll sprinkle it here and there and spray clear coat over it to make it stick.

Get some Fullers earth. It's one of the oldest tricks in the special effects weathering tool box.

The correct color was identified a few days ago and I just reshot it all today. I'll start weathering it tomorrow and won't go as crazy as last time

I started weathering yesterday and am integrating some sand I brought back from Maui a few days ago. It sticks really well with clear coat.
