Ohh that picture is really neat, gizi.

Friday morning when I was walking home from work we had about a half inch to an inch (milwaukie) there were a couple roads with no tire tracks or footprints at all..wish I would have had my camera on me because it was really cool looking.

I want to see snow on Christmas itself. We had a tiny bit last year..but I'd love to see everything white, since I've never actually had a white christmas.

I've heard the Portland Metro area is due to get 6 - 10 inches over the weekend... I think I am at about 2.5 inches right now.

Already I wish it were Spring!

T'Igor and I were supposed to fly out to the east coast tonight, but PDX canceled all flights after 4pm. And of course due to the holidays, finding another flight was a complete pain. We finagled our way onto a different flight leaving first thing Monday morning - provided the weather doesn't go sour again.

On a lighter note - even though I'm still not over whatever the heck this sickness is that I have, I absolutely love the snow and was very happy to go outside and drive around for a bit today with my kid. I wouldn't be surprised if by now Hillsboro has seen 5 inches just today...

Yeah, Allan.... you and Karyn can just take it all! I swear, I haven't seen multiple days of snow in a row like this in, something like 25 years. I think that last time I remember weather like this I was like 6 or 7, maybe.

We have between 6 and 10 inches here... with a nice layer of .25 to 1.5 inches of ice on top of it...  It is pretty and pretty slippery.  I was able to polar bear slide down a hill... it was awesome.
