"Science of the Movies" on Science Channel
« on: December 10, 2009, 11:46:32 PM »
This week's episode from earlier tonight was called, "The Magical World of George Lucas" featuring effects from "Pirates of the Carribbean"; a helicopter crash for "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and at least from the commercial, looked to have some Star Wars segments.  I totally forgot about it, and just came across it on the DVR!  Time to watch!

For anyone who missed it, it replays tomorrow at noon and midnight.

Well, didn't have any specific Star Wars segments, but the host of the show did visit the ILM ranch and that was cool seeing that.  Lots of interesting footage of their CG and mo-cap tech, and that was the major focus of the show.
