TONYS KINGDOM OF COMICS FOOD/TOY DRIVE SAT DEC 19TH

Hello everyone;
  Tonys Kingdom of Comics in Keizer will be having a combination food drive and toy drive, now more than ever the public needs our help. The food drive will benefit the local food banks, which are in dire straits. And the toy drive will help out The Simonka Place, a shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse, and the Marines "Toys for Tots" program, AND possibly Doernbechers. I would like to divide the toys donated among all the charities we champion . I will be accepting food and toys, unwrapped and unopened, from now on til Dec 19th. If a toy is purchased in my shop for donation, I will add another toy to the pot at my expense.  On that saturday the CCG/RL will be trooping at my shop, with additional guests possibly including the USMC, Keizer Fire Dept, Keizer Police Dept, the Cherry City Roller Derby Girls and several comic artists and writers to be named later . I plan on using the empty shop next door so we will be warm and dry . And as usual I will provide food, beverages and sick sales for my Star Wars family. So roster up people, this is gonna be a lotta fun .

Regrettably, I have to cancel my availabilty to be a spotter. I found out I'll be at my in-laws to celebrate Christmas.

The Cherry City Derby Girls are on board, as well as the Keizer Police Dept and some local artists. I have confirmed the use of the space next door, so we will have an extra bathroom, plenty of room and HEAT indoors:twisted:! I am still waiting to hear from the Fire Dept, USMC and a HUGE name in comics. Keep your fingers crossed..............old tony kenobi

Not at all, I just didnt know for sure when I had my graphics guy do the flier We will be seeing a new Batman costume from, David, (Kreator), the Heath Ledger Joker and of course your 60's TV version Batgirl, (with your new boots ). AND Brian, (Sora), stopped by to tell me we might have a scout bike to display ..................old tony kenobi

OK folks, talked with Allan and Rick, and we decided to have a gift exchange Christmas party after/during this event since we didnt have a scheduled Xmas party this year, and most of us got froze out last year. Everyone attending who wants to be a part of this just bring, (or buy at my shop at a SICK discount), one item around $10 and we will figure out how to disburse the gifts later. If you wish to stick around after 5 for a bit of OUR family party we will shut down the space next door for fun and games, (POKER PAUL!!!). You are all welcome to bring cookies, beverages, etc. I will provide lunch for all my guests earlier..........old tony kenobi
