Should have stuck with the pink if you ask me!

Nice job!

Pink Dengar, aka Tha Fabulous Dengi, as he's known on the dancing circuit, does not have a full CRL yet and requires much more pleather and mesh. Probably easier to just go with good old tan Dengar!  :D

Looking good Daryl!
Hahahahaha! Either way looking good man.

A little more completed tonight.

Weathered the cloth parts using my black powder paint and a rag. (The weathering doesn't show well in the pictures).

Hood:

Coveralls:

Gloves:

Mocassins:

Belt and pouches:

Once I get fully suited-up I'd probably find places that need more.

Next, some more strapping work.

I cut the slits in the shoulder bridges and holes for the chicago screws.

Added the rivets to the thighs.

Instead of using the rivets to secure the thigh elastic straps, I decided to add snap plates so I can change out the elastic, if necessary.

Then I made the thigh straps.

Today's Progress...

While waiting on some backpack parts from Mon-Cal, I worked on making the tube end-caps more accurate.

Here is how they came from Crookknight:

So I sanded off the lettering and added some wall texture to get the bumpy look of the screen used end caps.

(Still needs to be painted)

Next, I Attached the tube to the frame using the support from Garbz.

Then I attached the holster to the thigh.

While waiting for my backpack parts to arrive, I decided to finally build my DL-21 blaster.

Last year I bought this 3D printed kit from Garbz@BHG.

I originally wasn't going to spend much time filling and sanding the print lines, but Mike H. convinced me to do it.  He loaned me some Zpoxy, which helps to fill the surface issues.  So after a few coats, lots of sanding, I finally glued the kit together.

Then I used filler primer and more sanding.  Then some satin black and silver.

Looks good in the holster.

After these were taken I also did some dry brush weathering, but it will need more.

I did a little work on the belt buckle.

Glued on the greeblie.

Then decided to paint the chrome buckle to match the silver-painted greeblie.

This made weathering the entire buckle much easier.

I received my new backpack boxes from Mon-Cal.

Untitled by daryl doak, on Flickr

Next step is to angle cut the upper box (on right), paint the boxes and tube, and then mount it all on the frame.

Made some progress on the backpack this weekend.

Marked the angle cut for the cluster panel, then cut it.

Test fit with the boxes just sitting on the frame.

Then I made some mounting frame supports for the middle box, from the same for-sale sign I used for the thigh shims.

Untitled by daryl doak, on Flickr

Then glued them in.

Next I mounted the cluster panel and center box to the frame.

Then marked and cut-out the vent slots on the center box.

I made more progress on the backpack.

I painted the boxes and tube.

Untitled by daryl doak, on Flickr

And then I reassembled and did a trial wrap of the Aglok.

Then I assembled my clip mounts and then riveted them to the frame.

Finally I started to figure out how to position the straps on the pack.
