Author Topic: Finally got the chance and opportunity, read as girlfriend approval, to pull the trigger on an ANOVO  (Read 19924 times)

Main construction is complete now for sorting out the little things. Back shoulder connection reshaping, right shin refitting, getting the shin elastic and clips glued and painting and I think it'll be basic approval ready.

Still working out the best way to permanently mount my lenses but for now the "tape" that was holding the frown Mrs is working.
So I got the heat gun out and did some reshaping of the back shoulder straps? Wings? You folks know what I'm talking about. The fit is better and they don't bite as much now. However the chest still feels like it is riding high and the seems to be a lot of left over space in the chest. Also got the right shin retrimmed and cover strip is gluing now. I also got the thigh ammo pack drilled and soft mounted it's a bit late for the hammering to finish it off tonight.

Would these be suitable for the TD?

The slotted pan-heads look correct.  Pain them black.

So I've been busy and haven't done much with the armor, but it is getting near completion. However I am revisiting my rubies E-11 with some upgrades.

Blaster update and a quick armor update, no pictures, I'll get some later. But I finally got my elastic and shoulder straps measured and glued.

So finally got to my shoulder straps. Elastic and hard straps done, unfortunately the right one I believe decided to wander a bit so I'll need to reglue it probably tomorrow.

Alright got the straps glued in but need to readjust my right one as it slipped a bit while gluing.

Shoulder straps readjusted and that's the torso completed. Was going to do the shin closures but it will have to wait until later because of graduation number two this evening.

So getting the shin closures done, but realized I may need to remake them or may just need to reposition them. I also trim my return edges on the thighs and left shin since they are out at the moment for gluing.
