Title: Armor bin/tote
Post by: Rat on August 24, 2018, 11:38:27 AM
So being on a tight budget I'm looking for my bin and found this one as a temporary solution until I can get something more sturdy. Any opinions?

I've carried some of my costumes around in bins similar to but smaller than this. It works out okay, but it's nice to have your hands free. You might look into a hockey bag that you can sling over your shoulder/body - that's pretty much what has replaced my bin like this.

Hmmm... I was just thinking since I'm toting a to with a bucket and eventually a blaster and everything something hard would be better. I do have a soft monitor bag, for a PA monitor, but not sure it would be big enough for all of that.

I looked everywhere for totes, trying to spend as little as possible. I finally settled on the tool boxes from Home Depot. The problems with the cheaper ones are the wheels are small, the plastic is thin, and the handles are inefficient. It would be better than nothing though.

Yeah like I said this is just for a temporary solution until I can get a good one.

So I found something a little better with an actual handle and fits everything with a bit of extra room. The added bonus only cost me about $20(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180825/e49a4ca9a860257d8677766eacc0fe0e.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180825/e46f22e36f9e92d55062d7a9f83564bc.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180825/abe637e52407de84fe21ec51a322c9c4.jpg)

I use the exact same bin for my Tie and now for my Scout. For the cost it works well. However due to the size of my RC, I had to go with something much larger and heavier duty which set me back a hundred bucks lol. Overall though I'd say I love to enjoy customizing my boxes. I always slap on graphics I made at work with my ID number and kill marks. Scout will get something very similar pretty soon.

Was looking at doing that, but not sure where to even start.
