WHAT: The Portland Retro Gaming Expo (PRGE)
WHERE: Oregon Convention Center in Portland
DATE: 3:00-10:00 (Fri 10/20), 9:00-5:30 (Sat 10/21), 10:00-5:00 (Sun 10/22)
TIME: If we could have volunteers 30 minutes before the doors open that would be great! While we would like to have volunteers for the duration of our event, we understand if that could be complicated. However, we provide food, beverages, and a lounge area for all volunteers.
CAUSE: Portland Retro Gaming Expo
We are a 501(c)4 dedicated to creating awareness and appreciation for classic video games.
PARKING:
We would provide parking passes for the exhibitor parking lot at the Oregon Convention Center
OTHER DETAILS:
This year, we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Star Wars by creating an interactive exhibit showcasing the history of Star Wars video games. We will feature dozens of console systems, arcade cabinets, and pinball machines, all set to free play.
ANYTHING ELSE:
We are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Star Wars by creating an interactive exhibit. It will be on the main show hall floor, as part of our arcade. We'll have dozens of console systems ranging from the Atari 2600 to the Original Xbox. Each of those systems will be set up with a specific Star Wars game. So attendees can go from station to station to explore the Star Wars universe through gaming. We'll also have Star Wars arcade cabinets and pinball machines too! We're hoping have the support of the 501st to create an immersive Star Wars environment for our attendees.

The only "official" times they've asked for is for the 30 minutes prior to the show opening. So, 2:30. But, a number of our members are planning on being there for longer in costume though.
